Not leaving DA, but I have made a new account.

My new account is: :iconbibelotforest:

So all new deviations will be uploaded to that account! I will check this account periodically but will eventually switch completely to my new account.

If you still enjoy my works and would like to see more, I suggest you friend me there.

I just needed a change.

My shop ~> www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=…

Everything in my shop is on a big discout! Most of them are $20, the only exception being the OOAK unicorn and dragon. They are both now $35.

I think my listings will only last until April 3, so if you like something, you should take advantage of the sale! I'm not sure if I will re-list the current plushrooms once the listings expire.

Sad News Concerning Custom Orders

I am sorry I have to do this, but I must cancel all my custom orders. I hope you will understand.

------------------------Plushrooms F.A.Q------------------------

Q: What are plushrooms?
A: Plushrooms are a stuffed toy designed by me. I call them a "stuffed toy", although they aren't really suitable for children and really meant for adult collectors/lovers of fun cute things :3
They sit in the range of 8" tall, and are made with felt, cords and pompoms, although one day I hope to upgrade to microfleece from felt.

Q: Where do you get the inspiration for plushrooms?
A: I don't really have a specific answer to this. I just....make them up? ^^; I love to design things, be it costume design or stuffed animals. It's just something I do for fun. I keep the base design simple so they won't be too time consuming to make, and everything just went from there...if it looks good, I make it!

Q: Are plushrooms suitable for young children?
A: I once had a cousin over and he was thrashing around one of my plushrooms like crazy, so no, I don't recommend it. Plushrooms are machine and hand-sewn, and although I try my hardest to make everything secure, they can still be quite delicate. Also the pompom hands would qualify as a choking hazard, most likely.

Q: I want to make a plushroom! Can you give me the patterns? OR I really like this! Can I make one like it?
A: I'm sorry, but I do not give out my patterns, nor do I wish people to make them for themselves. Plushrooms are my own creation and I have copyrighted them as such. Please do not try to make your own, I put lots of hard work into them and it just wouldn't be fair. Making something you designed yourself is more fun anyway.

Q: I want to buy a plushroom with neon yellow legs and purple pompoms!
A: I list all the colours of leg cord and pompoms available in my colour chart, found here: www.deviantart.com/deviation/2… If the colour you want isn't listed, then I do not have it and cannot make a plushroom in those colours. You'll have to make do with what I have...though I am on the constant search for new colours, and I will update when I get new stock.

Q: How do I buy a plushroom?
A: Please read my journals first (Infact, the one on my main page lists all the info, and links to my pricing journal), and if you are still unsure as to how to buy one, ask me your questions and I'll answer them. Journal on how to buy them is found here: plushrooms.deviantart.com/jour…

Q: Can I buy a peacock/unicorn/giraffe/dragon?
A: The peacock was a great challenge for me and took lots of time and effort to complete, and as such I don't feel like making them very often :P. If I do manage to pump another one out, I think I will do it on my own accord and then put it up for sale on Ebay/Etsy. This goes for all future difficult plushroom designs aswell (Dragons, Giraffes, Unicorns etc.). I am also not so keen of duplicating a past OOAK design, it is much more fun if I get to change the design a second time around.

Q: How can I set up a similar business?
A: Believe it or not but I am still quite a newby at this and don't know very much, so there's not much advice I can give since my business isn't exactly "set up" yet. I'm still learning everyday! I guess the best advice I can give for how to start the beginning stages is to design something that has appeal but is still not too difficult to make, and make many different designs. Then advertise, advertise, advertise. Tell as many people as you can because word of mouth is a very easy way to get business. See if there are any conventions in your area with an artist alley and rent a table! That always brings me many new customers.

Q: What are the shipping costs?
A: These are the shipping prices:
To the United States:......$8
Within Canada:....................$9-13
Internationally:..............$14

Q: Can you tell me when my plushrooms have shipped?
A: Yes, once I have shipped the package I will come on DA and send you a note saying so. In the meantime you will just have to be patient with me!

Q: My friend's birthday is next week and I want to get her/him a plushroom!
A: Depending on the complexity of the plushroom you order, it takes me around 1-3 days to make one. And then, regular airmail shipping takes around 2 weeks to deliver. If you are willing to pay for xpresspost, or even in some cases, a courier, then sure, I can make you a birthday plushroom! But the cost of xpresspost and a courier can get pretty pricy...xpresspost is around $20 and a courier is $60. (Those are canadian prices, but you get the idea)

BUT ideally I would like you to order at least 3 weeks before you would like it at your door.

Q: Do you accept trades? (commissions, other plushies, etc., in exchange for a plushroom)
A: No, sorry, I do not take trades in exchange for a plushroom. ^^;

Q: Can I order a zombie/dead/skello in another colour besides the default?
A: Of course! If you want a hot pink zombie or whatever, go right ahead. Again, just please be aware of my available colours for felt,  legs, and pompoms.

Q: Can I order a custom design still?
As of February 2007, I have stopped taking orders to focus on stocking my Etsy shop. Plushrooms stocked in my Etsy shop will be ready to ship, and ideally I would like people to take a look through there before placing a custom order. Things are getting busy for me and sewing up all the difficult designs people want is getting to be a bit much. I will be opening custom orders again in June, maybe doing 5 a month.
